Hey Young Chefs!

Today, the episodes of Superchef Kids are finally here at SuperchefKids.com. In this challenge, I am up against Nico from New York. We had to prepare a pesto made with edamame and goat cheese, among other ingredients, fill the piping bag, and pipe it on to the crostini. We also had to garnish the edamame pesto crostini with red peppers and shallots.

The time constraint was so challenging. I focused on getting my edamame shucked and tried to work cleanly and efficiently, adding all my ingredients to the food processor. The edamame pesto is delicious and I learned a new recipe! I’m going to recreate it for my family and give you the recipe on a future radio show.

Tell me what you think of the episode. I don’t want to give anything away but I loved working with Nico. He’s a crazy, fun-loving guy who is super nice. Chef John Besh and Chef Aaron Sanchez guided us and encouraged us. Ms. Carla Hall is sweet and so energetic.

I can’t wait to show you the next episode I’m in!:)

Cool Kids Cook and Get Creative in the Kitchen!

Bon Appetit, Kid Chef Eliana
